A planetary government to a “global company”: is it feasible?
Shouldn’t it be convenient and desirable to see one day our planet governed as would be managed a large company by eminent experts belonging to a world wide independent organisation? Such an organisation would place the world economical apparatus in a dynamic of progress, characterized by ongoing improvement, creation of wealth, investments… On the basis of a SWOT Analysis they’d be able to identify the opportunities and the threats of the economical environment, the strengths and the weaknesses of each country’s economy, and opt for the most indicated global strategic option so that the creation of wealth within this sort of” global company ” would be optimal and could benefit to all the citizens of this world; so within this ” one and unique company” the commercial, procurement, production, human resources management functions would have another dimension; they would become controlled processes leading to the success of such an important project to undertake, the human resources being naturally the main wealth of this “global company” to which a particular attention should be granted; the politicians would play the role of facilitators.
Gained by this madness of the atomic armament (race in the atomic armament, development of arsenals) and of the massive conventional armament against so called potential enemies, the main leaders of our world should show more wisdom, by converting their armament industries in an industry of equipments dedicated to the creation of wealth. The main values the political leaders have to strengthen are equality, mutual respect and mutually advantageous and fruitful relations.
The elaboration of the global budget (sum of the national budgets) of this «planetary company», its implementation and its follow-up would be the concretisation of such a concept. Such a project which could be named «Global Enterprise» built on a consensus of at least the majority of the political leaders, supervised by an ad hoc structure constituted by the leaders of the most important companies, consultancies, experts, specialists, representatives of governments and associations, could be the keystone in the serious current problems we witness daily all around the world.
A political will without defect is a prerequisite in any common and concerted action towards a better life for all. If a policy is defined in these terms:” our preferences, our main orientations “, let these preferences and main orientations converge on the vision of a world of brotherhood, peace, progress for all!
